Tom Peck Blitz Inc CEO describes his previous work experience, training, and life experiences in relation to his current project, Blitz Inc:

I started my career in Clarinda, IA as a Youth Counselor for a residential at-risk youth facility. My job was to help coach and mentor children and young adults to become more prosocial in their actions upon discharge from the facility. After a little over a year, I was promoted into a Group Leader position. During this time, I got some experience with coaching and managing other staff members. I learned a lot from others with more experience in management than I, and was always eager to learn more.

After Tom Peck was denied a position as an Individual Counselor within the company, he soon realized that he needed to further his education to succeed professionally.

I transferred from Iowa Western Community College to the four-year institution, Northwest Missouri State University, where I majored in Psychology and minored in Criminal Justice. I chose to pursue Psychology based on my interest in helping others make better choices and then seeing them succeed. That was always really fulfilling to me.

After graduation, Tom Peck worked in restaurants in Kansas City for a few months (a continuation from his part-time job in college) while pursuing more meaningful employment.

I interviewed with several companies - from insurance sales to being an advisor at a staffing firm. I finally found a job that would teach me sales, which later would turn out to be vital to my career.

After making his way from an entry level sales rep position with a local sales and marketing firm in Kansas City, Tom got the opportunity to branch out for himself.

The client who we were representing at the time really like my results, as well as my team's results, and we got our chance to shine. They gave me some start-up capital to work with and then it was 'off to the races.'

Tom Peck opened his first successful sales and marketing company in Cleveland, OH in November of 2009. Since then, Tom Peck has assisted in the launch of another market in the midwest and has expanded out to the Seattle / Bellevue, Washington area and incorporated as Blitz, Inc in Bellevue, WA.

I will continue to service my long-time client to the best of my ability, and will continue to train other Client Managers within the company to do the same. Once we obtain a certain threshold, Blitz Inc will then take on another client's campaign here in the Seattle area. Then...we repeat the process.

By putting our top Client Manager's in charge of these campaigns, it really helps create some friendly competition with the company. There's room for more than one manager, so there's no 'glass ceiling.' I'm fairly biased, but I truly believe that we have one of the greatest opportunities in the U.S. right in front of us and I look forward to our continued successes.
